Tara is the founder of 212 Pilates. In 2013, she left her corporate job to travel and reflect, and soon realized that no matter where she was, Pilates always brought her home. That realization led her to pursue comprehensive teacher training in classical, contemporary, and therapeutic Pilates.
Beyond mastering the traditional repertoire, Tara has trained extensively in injury prevention and special populations, including pre/postnatal clients, back pain, osteoporosis, and joint issues (hip, knee, shoulder, and wrist). Her approach is deeply personalized, whether you’re looking for a challenging workout or a restorative session. Tara created 212 Pilates with this philosophy at its core, and she can’t wait to welcome you to our expanded studio and wellness space!

Originally from Arizona, Demi Bang is an NPCP Certified Pilates Teacher who completed her training through Pilates Sports Center. While working long hours in advertising and sitting at a desk, she began experiencing persistent shoulder and back pain. It wasn’t until she discovered Pilates that her posture improved and the pain was relieved! Curious about the fundamentals of Pilates, she decided to go through teacher training with no intention of teaching, but to deepen her own understanding. However, during her teaching hours, Demi really enjoyed helping others. Watching clients improve and seeing their progress inspired her to continue teaching. She loves working with clients of all body types, building relationships, and supporting them on their journeys!

My name is Susan. I am a small batch producer of specialty baked goods, a certified Alexander Technique (M. AmSAT) and Pilates teacher (The Kane School of Core Integration), a business transformation leader, a road cycler and a student of QiGong. I was meant to move, to dream big, to feel big and to transform how companies and people operate.
The backbone of a body is similar to the infrastructure for a skyscraper to stand tall and a company’s operating model to scale and flex for business growth and retraction. But after debiIitating injuries, I reached a point in my life when I could no longer scale; I could not flex.
In the coming weeks and months of recovery, I had nothing but time to come to the life changing realization that I was given the chance to use this downtime constructively. Through months of study in anatomy, the Alexander Technique, and Pilates plus real time feedback from elite athletes, kinesiologists, physical therapists and mobility coaches on the practical application, I set out rebuilding me – from the ground up. I’ve integrated these learnings into tools and experiences to help others at any stage in their lives to also move more efficiently and with less effort so they can live their best lives doing the things they love.
